one year ago, triple j gave listeners the keys to the radio with their first-ever Requestival, where for a whole week, the station’s music was programmed by the Aussie public.

They received more than 100K requests and played everything from Beethoven’s ‘Symphony No.5’ to John Cena’s theme song and Crazy Frog, plus plenty of triple j listeners’ favourite songs from over the years.

Next week, they’re doing it all again! From 6am-9pm, Monday 10 May until Friday 14 May, every song you’ll hear on triple j will be programmed by a triple j listener. Even triple j segments like Live at the Wireless and the Friday Mix will be by request.

Download or update the triple j app to make your request now!

On top of complete control over the triple j playlist, they are also bringing you a very special request-themed Like A Version. Tune in to triple j Breakfast with Bryce & Ebony on Friday 14 May to hear the madness unfold on air.

All you gotta do is download or update your triple j app to get your fire requests in – and they want to hear what type of connection you have with these songs, too.

Tell triple j about the song you had banging in your car when you first got your license. The song you can’t resist throwing down to in the club. The song you’ll die on a hill for, even though all your mates think it’s trash.

Get your requests in now and tune in from Monday – Friday next week to hear your songs!
