Treasurer Joe Hockey has won a defamation case against Fairfax Media.
The case saw the Federal Court investigating Fairfax publications from last year detailing Hockey as a ‘Treasurer for sale’ and whether Hockey’s reputation had been damaged by it.
Hockey was awarded $200,000 in damages, according to the ABC.
All other complaints were dismissed.
