Toyota Corolla Gets Brand New Platform Thanks To HERO Agency

Independent agency HERO has launched a new brand platform for the iconic Toyota Corolla.

This marks the first major campaign by HERO for Toyota Australia after being appointed to the Toyota agency roster in 2021. The campaign signifies a repositioning of the beloved Corolla through a more emotional and future-facing lens and launches the new brand platform “Never Stop Smiling”.

HERO’s campaign brings to life the happiness the Toyota Corolla gives drivers due to its performance and reliability. Vin Naidoo, chief marketing officer, Toyota Motor Corporation Australia said, “The Toyota Corolla is one of Australia’s most recognised and well-loved vehicles, having sold over 1 million cars nationally and over 50 million worldwide since its initial release.”

“The HERO campaign encapsulates the joy this iconic vehicle has brought to drivers across the country over the years, who have fallen in love with its distinctive features, innovative technology, engaging driving dynamics and well-documented reliability and durability,” he said.

HERO chief creative officer, Benjamin Coulson said, “For decades Corollas have been putting a smile on Aussie faces, we thought it was time to return the favour.”

The Toyota Australia appointment follows a number of recent high-profile new business wins for HERO, including Circles.Life, Henkel, Microsoft, Maybelline New York and v2food.
