Thursday TV Wrap: Love Island Gets A Severe Dose Of Viewer Flops

Seven won a quiet Thursday night with, arguably, the biggest news from OzTAM’s numbers was Love Island’s continued woes.

Nine’s heavily marketed dating show falling to just 298,000 on the main channel according to metro numbers.

The Bachelorette did 624,000 for 10, while Trial By Kyle didn’t exactly kill it, it could only muster 363,000.

Seven won Thursday honours with 29.5 per cent of al the audience eyeballs (all channels). Nine did 25.2 per cent, 10 had 19.3 per cent, the ABC did 18.5 per cent and SBS had 7.4 per cent.

It’s 6pm news (868,000) was Seven’s best, followed by Home And Away (507,000) and The Chase (491,000).

10’s best was The Project (395,000), while 10 News First had  312,000.

Nine’s 6pm news did 707,000, ACA had 594,000 and RBT did 440,000.

The ABC’s night ran thus: 7pm news (584,000), 7.30 (473,000), Escape From the City (459,000) and Vera (366,000).
