Gogglebox (pictured) was last night’s best-performing entertainment, though the news came out on top overall as Seven News scored 857,000 viewers.

Taking silver and bronze were Nine News and A Current Affair, with 836,000 and 649,000 respectively. In fourth place was ABC News at 623,000 viewers, according to OzTAM.

10’s Gogglebox had its best night of the season so far with 596,000 viewers – a bump from last week’s 517,000.

The rest of 10’s night saw Territory Cops score 402,000 viewers, followed by The Project with 383,000 and Bondi Rescue with 371,000. Rounding out their night was 10 News First with 323,000 viewers.

With no MAFS, Nine had a quiet night of programming. After the news and A Current Affair, there was Hot Seat, with 329,000 viewers.

ABC’s night saw 7.30 secure 556,000 viewers, and Back Roads had 499,000. Q+A had 339,000.

Home And Away scored 443,000 viewers for Seven, while The Chase 420,000. Then came Wife Swap with 309,000 and Sunrise with 255,000.

It was a relatively close race to the top for the daily share, with Seven (all channels) winning at twenty-seven per cent. Then came Nine (all channels) with twenty-five per cent and 10 (all channels) with twenty-one per cent. The ABC network had eighteen per cent while the SBS network had eight per cent.
