Thursday TV Wrap: Bachelor & Gogglebox Enjoy A Bump, But Nine Gets Gold

While 10’s tentpole programs Gogglebox and The Bachelor enjoyed nice lifts on Thursday night – 644,000 and 611,000 respectively –  Nine came out with gold, topping the night in primary audience share, according to OzTAM metro numbers.

Nine did 18.0 per cent, yet 10 did come second with 15.2 per cent. Meanwhile Seven came in third with 14.1 per cent. ABC did 10.4 per cent, while SBS did 8.5 per cent.

Here’s how the rest of the night ran:

Over at Seven, news did 970,000, The Chase did 522,000, Home and Away did 55,000 and Sunrise did 260,000.

Nine news did 935,000, ACA did 667,000, Hot Seat did 470,000 and NRL did 285,000.

10’s The Project did 474,000, while 10 News First did 315,000.

Finally, ABC news did 711,000, 7.30 did 551,000 and Escape from the City did 290,000. Meanwhile, SBS’ The World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys did 320,000,
