Full-service agency Think HQ welcomes Nick West to the newly created role of multimedia producer.

West joins the agency following extensive freelance experience as a multimedia editor and producer.

Commenting on the move, West said: “Moving into an agency environment, I’m enjoying working with the diverse and talented team at Think HQ.”

“Also, helping clients who are committed to positive social change gives me great job satisfaction.

“I’ve only just arrived and I’ve worked with migrant groups, shared stories of domestic violence and maritime safety.”

Think HQ founder, Jen Sharpe, welcomed West to the growing team.

“We’re excited to welcome such a talented multimedia producer; his creativity and technical skills are an asset at Think HQ and our growing list of clients who require top shelf content.

“Our Creative and Interactive team has more than doubled this year.”

West joins with extensive travel and experience – beginning his career in Brisbane before relocating to the U.K where he undertook video and photography work for brands including SKY Business, Jamie Oliver, Taste festivals, Global and Revlon.

Upon returning to Australia, West settled in Melbourne and freelanced for clients including Fairfax Media, Capgemini, MKTG, the Australian Government.

West has also created video and photography campaigns for Holden, the Melbourne Museum and Woolworths.

A recent highlight was B&T award-winning campaign ‘Girls, Make Your Move’ with Columbus, MKTG and Dentsu Mitchell for the Department of Health.

West joins Think HQ in a year of exceptional growth.

The agency has made more than 9 hires for new roles as the PR agency expands its breadth of services to firmly position itself in the full-service space.

West’s appointment coincides with Think HQ welcoming new client Maritime Safety Victoria for a television advertising campaign and the launch of the Australian Financial Complaints Authority with event management, PR, social media content, online and print advertising, and a national video production capturing stories of domestic violence in the Australian community.
