Think HQ Hires Human Rights Advocate Fiona Nixon

Purpose-driven agency Think HQ has hired human rights advocate and ex-Victoria Government consultant Fiona Nixon as head of strategy and research

She has nearly 30 years’ industry experience and was most recently head of strategy and communications at Bank Australia where she was responsible for the bank’s corporate strategy, corporate affairs, marketing and sustainability.

At Think HQ she will lead the agency’s strategy and research function, with a focus on creating insight-driven integrated campaigns that create impact.

Nixon’s previous experience includes consulting in the Victorian Government public sector where she delivered communications strategies for major social policy initiatives in multicultural, women’s and community development portfolios.

She has a long-standing interest in human rights and has served on the Australia committee of the global advocacy organisation, Human Rights Watch for the past five years.

“We’re so excited to welcome Fiona to the Think HQ team. She brings a wealth of expertise and is perfectly suited to the work we’re doing now, as we build a new kind of agency that melds creativity, inclusion, and purpose,” Think HQ Founder and managing director Jen Sharpe said.
