Te Arikinui Pullman Auckland Airport Rolls Out ‘Between Worlds’ Campaign Repositioning What An Airport Hotel Can Be

Te Arikinui Pullman Auckland Airport has unveiled a new brand campaign, ‘Between Worlds’, designed to reframe what an airport hotel can be and position the property as a distinctive destination within the premium travel experience.

Developed in partnership with specialist hospitality brand marketing agency Studio Moda, Between Worlds moves beyond the traditional airport hotel conversation of proximity and convenience to position Te Arikinui Pullman Auckland Airport as a meaningful destination in its own right — a place to pause, restore and prepare, not simply pass through.

The campaign is built on the insight that airports place travellers in a unique state of transition, suspended between where they’ve been and where they’re going. Between Worlds positions the hotel as the premium sanctuary within that moment.

At the centre of the campaign is a suite of hero brand films that use cinematic storytelling to capture the shift travellers experience when they step out of the travel rush and into the Pullman. The tension of travel gives way to calm, the noise fades, and the journey loosens its grip.

The creative platform and tagline: Your Moment Between Worlds spans more than 200 individual assets across digital, social, out-of-home, performance marketing and publisher partnerships, built as a full-funnel ecosystem targeting high-value leisure and business travellers across New Zealand, Australia and key international markets.

Within the first six weeks of launch, the campaign reached more than 1.5 million travellers across priority markets, an early signal of strong audience resonance as the property builds awareness among premium traveller segments globally.

Danelle Ayers, founder and director of Studio Moda, said the campaign was an opportunity to shift the conversation around what airport hotels stand for and showcase the cultural richness of the Te Arikinui Pullman experience.

“Airport hotels have traditionally been marketed around convenience,” said Ayers. “We saw an opportunity to elevate that conversation and position Pullman as a meaningful part of the journey itself. Between Worlds recognises the emotional state travellers are in and creates a brand platform that feels distinctive, memorable and ownable.”

“Te Arikinui Pullman Auckland Airport offers something unlike any other airport hotel. The Between Worlds campaign captures exactly what our guests experience when they step out of the terminal and into the hotel, which is a culturally rich, restorative place that reflects the beauty and identity of Aotearoa,” concluded precinct general manager, Olivier Lacoua.
