TBWA Worldwide Taps Matt Springate As Global Head Of Strategy

TBWA\Australia’s former strategy chief Matt Springate has been appointed global head of strategy for adam&eve\TBWA and TBWA Worldwide, a newly created role.

He will report to adam&eve\TBWA CSO Will Grundy TBWA Worldwide CSO Jen Costello.

Springate joined Omnicom’s TBWA\London as chief strategy officer from Havas London in November.

Prior to Havas, he spent nearly eight years in Australia, primarily leading strategy at TBWA\Australia.

In 2023, he was named one of the top 10 creative strategists in B&T’s Best of the Best list.

He also worked as a teacher at the Miami Ad School for several years.

Earlier in his career, Springate held senior strategy and planning roles at Grey London, Fallow and The Brooklyn Brothers.

He also had a stint in New York with Droga5 at a time when the agency won Cannes Lions Independent Agency of the Year.
