After featuring in the Great Place to Work ’50 Best Places to Work’ study for the past 12 years, OMD Australia has ranked seventh for companies with over 100 employees.
Open to all industries across the country, OMD is also the only communications company to have ranked in the top 25 of this prestigious listing for 2020, and top 50 for 12 consecutive years.
Based on one of the world’s most comprehensive studies of workplace culture, making the list is a testament to the top 50 companies’ commitment to retaining happy, engaged, loyal, high performing workforces and the innovative strategies that they implement during challenging times.
The list is broken down into two: over 1,000 employees and 100 — 999 employees.
In the over 1,000 group, information technology company Cisco Systems Australia topped the list. In 100 to 999 employees, another technology company – Interactive – topped the list.
Aimee Buchanan, CEO OMD Australia, commented: “For the past 12 years it has been an honour to be featured in the ‘50 Best Places to Work’ study. But this year, at a time where our people, our company and our industry have all been put to the test like never before, it is even more special. This result is testament to our passionate and committed people, who band together to create the unique workplace culture that we are all extremely proud of.”
Following the COVID-19 outbreak, OMD’s Flexibility Policy, people initiatives and technology allowed OMD to pivot at pace to remote working, ensuring the safety of their team and ongoing delivery of quality work for their clients.
