Rumours have been swirling that Karl Stefanovic could be leaving the Today show. But thankfully, here at B&T, we can confirm he isn’t!
Yes, some stories circled that Stefanovic could be hanging up his best morning show suit and heading behind the scenes at Nine.
You may have spotted a few articles online that alluded to the fact Stefanovic could be stepping away from the camera.
Here at B&T, we won’t compare the story to Uber-Gate, but it did have legs.
Perhaps these articles made you nervous? After all, Stefanovic has become a Morning show stable. Someone we can rely on in these trying times for some light relief.
Remember when he jokingly stormed off the other week? Stefanovic does have a way of making the mornings fun.
Hamish Blake even weighed in on the rumours via The Kyle and Jackie O Show, where he said: “His (Stefanovic) has run the idea via me, the old guard and Eddie (Mcguire), and he’s going to be head of vibe.”
Clearly, Blake was joking, and thankfully a spokesman from Nine has confirmed to B&T that the rumours are just rumours.
This means Stefanovic will stay put on The Today Show and perhaps even help win The Olympics for the network.
