Spotify has taken over billboard real estate in Melbourne to celebrate rising local artists Becca Hatch and Lewis Love joining its global emerging artist programme, RADAR Australia & New Zealand.
The pair were plastered across high-impact billboards on Melbourne’s Bourke Street from Friday 25 September through Sunday 27 September, with both artists also sharing social content as they visited their billboards in person.
The billboard takeover marks the launch of the artists’ six-month run as Spotify RADAR artists, with the streaming platform promising sustained support across editorial, marketing and live events.
Hatch’s inclusion comes alongside the release of her anticipated Black Flower EP, while Love is preparing to release his forthcoming album.
The announcement also comes as the RADAR programme points to a growing pipeline between its emerging artist roster and the ARIA Awards, with seven artists who have previously been supported by RADAR landing among this year’s ARIA nominees.

Those artists include Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers, Blusher, Genesis Owusu, Larissa Lambert, Baker Boy and Royel Otis, alongside Hatch.
For Hatch, the programme will provide a platform to build momentum around her latest work.
“So excited to be a RADAR artist!! I love making music about feminine strength, being free, and growing into yourself,” Hatch said.
“It feels so special to have Spotify supporting me on this journey with Black Flower.”
Love added: “I’m so grateful to Spotify for making me a RADAR artist, I’m really excited for the whole world to hear what we’ve been working on.”

Over the next six months, Spotify will support the pair through placements including cover spots on the official RADAR AU & NZ playlist, premium mobile home banners and homepage takeovers, as well as social and editorial activity aligned with their release schedules.
Spotify AUNZ Artist & Label Partnerships Lead Leah Harris said the programme was designed to help emerging artists build momentum both locally and internationally.
“At its heart, RADAR is an export and momentum engine — and seeing seven RADAR artists recognised in this year’s ARIA nominations shows just how powerful that launchpad is,” Harris said.
“Spotify partners with artists just as that heat is building, and we work deeply with the artist team to develop opportunities and fandom.
“Becca and Lewis are both on the edge of something big, and we want audiences here and globally to discover what we already know and love about them.”
Launched globally in 2020, RADAR AUNZ has generated more than 47 million artist discoveries, with previous Australian participants including Genesis Owusu, Young Franco, grentperez, Baker Boy, Teen Jesus and The Jean Teasers and Larissa Lambert.
