a snooker player has honoured his hilarious promise of fronting up to a press conference in the nude if he won the world championship.
Mark Williams, who didn’t event qualify for the event last year, and hasn’t won a ranking snooker comp in seven years, has become the oldest world snooker champion since 1978 by beating John Higgins 18-16 in a shock come-from-behind victory.
Williams thought his chances of winning the world championship were so slim that he promised to greet the media afterwards in his birthday suit if he succeeded.
And, sure enough, Williams honoured his promise, making his way awkwardly to the press conference in nothing but a towel, before disrobing and assuming his position in front of the awaiting cameras.

Williams has even promised to go one better if he wins the world championship next year with a naked cartwheel!
