News Corp Australia has announced the expansion of it’s digital network with the new-look Sky News Australia website joining its platform of news websites.

News Corp Australia will commercially represent all digital inventory on SkyNews.com.au from today

The freshly designed SkyNews.com.au site aims to be faster, smarter and more user-friendly to better meet the needs of both audiences and clients.

From today, SkyNews.com.au content will expand to include exclusive digital journalism and original text news reporting from a new team of reporters.

Through News Corp Australia, SkyNews.com.au will now have access to the extensive ad product kit available across the company’s digital network.

The site currently has a monthly Australian unique audience of 900,000 along with 5.4 million video views and 6 million page views

News Corp Australia’s managing director of national sales Lou Barrett said: “Sky News Australia is an innovator in news content delivery in this country and we are delighted to have them join our category leading digital network.

“A strong addition to our commercial offering, Sky News has a major focus on video which will significantly increase our overall network’s video inventory. They also reach a highly targeted audience of high-value business leaders and C-suite members.”

Sky News Australia chief executive officer Paul Whittaker, said: “Our investment in the new-look SkyNews.com.au and its team of dedicated digital journalists, follows a period of record audience growth and engagement across Sky News Australia’s broadcast and digital platforms.

“Our digital footprint has grown significantly over the last 18 months, with our website alone delivering more than five million monthly video views, while our commitment to delivering Australians credible, insightful and real time news, analysis and commentary has never been stronger.”

Foxtel Media continues to represent the Sky News Australia television commercial opportunities on Foxtel and its related platforms.
