Shannon Noll Reads Out His Facebook Trolls In Tremendously Odd Sportsbet Ad

Shannon Noll is apparently no stranger to some whacky Facebook comments, each post the Aussie singer uploads attracts a string of responses from his fans following the same structure.

Online betting site Sportsbet cottoned-on to this and asked Nollsy to star in a video to bring them to life. The video captures the singer’s reaction to some of the absurd comments that come his way.

And, no, B&T’s not sure what it all has to do with online sports betting either. Check out the ad – apparently created by Sportsbet’s in-house creative team – below:

As a special treat, Nollsie even returned some of the items referenced in the comments, including a copy of 50 Cent’s hit single ‘In da Club’ and the DVD collection of Round the Twist that he’d be loaned back in 2003.

“Nollsie really is a true blue Aussie battler that you wouldn’t mind knocking a cold one back with in the arvo. He isn’t afraid to take the mickey out of himself for punters enjoyment and boy do we love him for it,” said sportsbet.com.au’s communications and social media co-ordinator, Ella Zampatti.

“The ol’ cobber is a larrikin at heart who enjoys reading the banter on his Facebook page as much as we all do, we’re stoked to be able to finally bring them to life.”
