Shameless Podcast Introduces Paid Subscription

The Shameless podcast has teamed up with Apple to launch a subscription service – ‘Shamemore’ – starting at A$5.99/month and A$49.99/year.

‘Shamemore’ subscribers will receive ad-free listening across all episodes, early binge drops for the SCANDAL series, and monthly bonus episodes.

Shameless, hosted by Michelle Andrews and Zara McDonald, is known for unpacking celebrity controversies, including scandals that have rocked the public, shaken up popular culture, and changed the way we think such as as the Jen, Brad and Angelina love triangle.

Shamemore is the latest to join other Aussie subscription favourites on Apple Podcasts Subscriptions including Hamish & Andy, Crime X+ and The Deep from Zoe Marshall.

Speaking on Shamemore, Michelle Andrews and Zara McDonald said:

“Shamemore is the subscription arm for the listeners who, well, want more. We know that our community adores our SCANDAL episodes, so we’ve been busy rejigging our workflow to publish all parts of a series in one drop. We also know that there’s demand for bonus content and VIP benefits (like early access to episodes, merch drops and live show tickets) – so finding a way to offer these to highly-engaged listeners was a no-brainer. It’s important to us that Shameless is accessible to everyone, so nothing changes at all for the typical listener – this is simply a ‘glowed up’ offering for anyone who wants a little extra!”
