Foodie fans rejoice! If you didn’t have enough choice already, Seven has announced it is launching a new reality TV show called Restaurant Revolution.
The format sees Aussies try and design and run their own pop-up restaurant.
Production is set to start this month, with five restaurant shells craned into capital cities around Australia.
SYDNEY – Centenary Square, Parramatta
MELBOURNE – St Kilda Triangle Site, Lower Esplanade, St Kilda
BRISBANE – Corner of Russell St and Grey St, Southbank
ADELAIDE – Victoria Square
PERTH – 103 Oxford St, Leederville
No launch date has been announced yet, however Seven said it’s “opening soon”.
Seven is the network behind My Kitchen Rules which, when it’s on, tends to dominate the TV ratings, battling alongside Nine’s reality TV competitor The Block.
However, foodie shows seems to be where it’s at right now, with Nine also getting into the space with its Hot Plate show. The show looks to be a competition between existing restaurants and chefs.
