Relationships Australia NSW (RANSW) asks you to see into the eyes of both survivors and users of family and domestic violence in a breaking new campaign.
The campaign, titled ‘Window to your Soul’, is RANSW’s first-ever public-facing marketing campaign, and is specifically designed to encourage people experiencing domestic violence in all its facets to seek support services.
The campaign plays on the insight that domestic violence is everyone’s business, and once seen, we cannot look away. Solving the complex issue of systemic domestic violence requires not only preventative action, but also individualised support to both survivors and users of violence.
RANSW’s key objective is to show the organisation as judgement-free and inclusive.
“Our difference is that we understand and respect everyone’s unique situations, and then work together to provide support for the whole family – men, women and children, and their communities,” said Suzy Sotirias, executive general manager, brand, marketing and communications at RANSW.
“Relationships Australia NSW has been offering evidence-based, culturally diverse Family Safety Programs for over 30 years to drive behavioural change where respectful non-violent relating is the norm. Our ultimate goal is to maximize family safety and build protective factors within the community.”
Joshua Hunt, Drifter’s creative director said: “There are a lot of current domestic violence campaigns effectively raising awareness and looking to force change through shame. We wanted to simply offer real stories and a real path to support so domestic violence no longer remains hidden behind household walls.”
The video-based campaign will live on social and has the support of a number of high profile ambassadors, who will share the content which encourages anyone experiencing domestic and family violence to seek support from RANSW.
If you or someone you know needs support in dealing with domestic violence, please contact RANSW on 1300 364 277.
