SCA’s Former Regional Media Boss Joins Grant Broadcasters

Independent media company Grant Broadcasters has announced the appointment of Rick Lenarcic as its new chief operating officer for media.

Lenarcic will work alongside Alison Cameron for several months before she moves into the CEO, role following Grant Cameron’s move to non-executive chairman. This move is expected to be completed in December.

Lenarcic was previously the head of regional media at Southern Cross Austereo – a role he held for nearly 26 years until his departure in June.

He will commence his new role at Grant Broadcasters on 8 October.

Ms Cameron described Lenarcic as a highly regarded and respected figure in Australia’s regional media landscape.

“I am excited to be working with Rick and look forward to him joining our family and the contribution that he will make to our company,” she said.

Commenting on his appointment, Lenarcic said: “It is a privilege to be part of Grant Broadcasters and I look forward to working with the senior leadership group and the broader team across all of our regional markets.

“I am excited about my future involvement with local communities and our business partners as they continue to thrive throughout regional Australia.”
