SCA Appoints Will McMichael As Regional Media Sales Chief

Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) has announced the appointment of Will McMichael as its new head of regional media sales.

Most recently working as group sales manager in SCA’s Sydney office, McMichael previously spent more than 11 years working in leadership roles across various regional and metro markets at home and abroad.

Prior to joining SCA, he was head of advertising for UAE-based company Gulf News.

As head of regional media sales, McMichael will be responsible for providing overall strategic direction and leadership to SCA’s heads of regional radio and TV sales and their teams throughout Australia.

He will also be responsible for driving the radio network’s sales strategy across regional markets.

SCA chief sales officer Brian Gallagher said: “Will’s exemplary performance, global experience and outstanding leadership has had an enormous impact on the Sydney team over the past 12 months.”

“I am thrilled to appoint Will head of regional media sales and see him continue to strengthen SCA’s sales teams, and deliver more exceptional outcomes for clients.”
