Quarantined Man Trains His Chihuahua To Fetch Him Cheetos From The Shops

A quarantined Mexican man has found an innovative way to placate his cravings for his favourite snack Cheetos by training his pet chihuahua to go on the shop run for him.

Antonio Munoz (pictured below) from Mexico City has been self-isolating for the past three days under similar measures Australia now has in place.

Unable to leave the house and with a craving for his favourite salted snack, Munoz trained his dog, Chokis the chihuahua, to do it for him and apparently it’s worked every time.

Munoz’s local store is only a block away and after equipping Chokis with a note tucked into his collar and the correct change he sent his faithful mutt out on his mission.

The note reads: “Hello sir of the store, can you sell my dog some orange – not red – Cheetos. In his collar he brings $20. If you don’t take good care of my dog, he will bite. From, the neighbour across the street.”

Munoz has told local media that Chokis has now done the shop run three times, each time successfully.

And if you’re worried that Chokis could be infected, all reports are that COVID-19 can’t be passed on from humans to animals. Although, apparently it can definitely go the other way.
