The Professor Speaks: “Soon As The Kids Entered The Room I Knew It Was Over!”

It’s been the talk of the internet over the past week, and now the Professor whose kids stormed his very serious BBC interview about the two Koreas has broken his silence.

Professor Robert Kelly, who handled the live calamity remarkably well, has told The Wall Street Journal that soon as he saw his daughter Marion, aged four, swagger in he knew there and then he was stuffed.

Relive the madness again here:

“As soon as she opened the door I saw her image on my screen. She was in a hippity-hoppity mood that day because of the school party,” the demure Prof explained.

However, when nine-month-year old James tottered in on his walker, “Then I knew it was over,” he said.

Things got all the more hysterical, when Kelly’s wife Jung-a Kim burst into the room in a bumbling attempt to save the day.

However, the whole affair has not been without its dark side, with many commentators assuming Jung-a Kim was the nanny. “That made me feel pretty uncomfortable,” Kelly said.

However, Jung-a Kim was all the more circumspect: “I hope people just enjoy it and don’t argue over this thing,” she said. “I’m not the nanny – that’s the truth – so I hope they stop arguing,” she said.
