In his latest lashing, Prince Harry has accused members of his family of entering a complicit relationship with the tabloid press in order to improve their own image.
Ahead of the publication of his memoir “Spare”, Harry sat down for a series of bombshell interviews with the US and UK media.
In an interview with ITV, the Duke of Sussex told presenter Tom Bradby that members of the royal family had sought to rehabilitate their own image by ‘getting into bed’ with the devil tabloid press and sullying the names of him and his wife Meghan.
“Spare” is scheduled to be released globally on the 10th of January. The book is said to include a number of sensational claims, including one in which Harry says he was physically attacked by his older brother Prince William.
Other highlights include, revelations about his drug use, a colourful description of his first sexual encounter and his role in killing members of The Taliban whilst on military duty in Afghanistan.
Reactions to the interviews have been mixed.
Unsurprisingly, the Taliban was not a fan. The group has already condemned Prince Harry and accused him of ‘war crimes’.
A Royal Marines Veteran and reported friend of Prince Harry described him as a “good guy”, but warned that this could be “overshadowed” by revelations in the book.
The pro-royal Dailymail was unambiguous with its view of the memoir – coming out with the headline “Spare Us!” in response to the interviews.
