Australian decorative paint brand Porter’s Paints has appointed The Project Agency as its first-ever formal public relations agency partner.
The strategic partnership marks the first time in Porter’s Paints’ history that the brand has retained a dedicated communications agency to lead its external communications, media relations, and brand partnerships across Australia.
Renowned for its handcrafted, high-pigment finishes, specialty wall coverings, and commitment to architectural design, Porter’s Paints selected The Project Agency to champion its narrative across mainstream, interior design, and trade media landscapes.

The decision comes as Porter’s Paints seeks to deepen its connection with both the Australian design community and a growing audience of design-minded homeowners, building on Porter’s Paints’ established position in the market while capitalising on The Project Agency’s more than 17 years of experience elevating premium lifestyle and retail brands.
“Porter’s Paints has always been deeply rooted in colour, design, and Australian craftsmanship,” Jill Every, Porter’s Paints national marketing manager said.
“As we look to expand our footprint and share our story more broadly, we needed a partner who intuitively understands the Australian design ecosystem and how to communicate true brand equity. The Project Agency’s 17-year track record in shaping narrative-driven campaigns for Australian brands made them the perfect fit for our first formal PR partnership.”
Speaking on the new win, Esther Navarro-Orejon, director at The Project Agency, described the brand as “a cornerstone of Australian colour design”.
“For nearly two decades, our agency has focused on telling authentic stories for brands that shape the way Australians live, work, and design,” she said.
“Representing Porter’s Paints as their inaugural PR partner is both a privilege and an incredible opportunity to highlight a heritage brand that continues to lead through innovation, colour, and craft.”
