B&T‘s Marketing Technology Company of the Year for 2018, PLAYGROUND XYZ, has bolstered its Asia-Pacific team with the appointment of Karan Kent as head of sales.
Formerly the sales director of Big Mobile and before that the state sales manager of Ad2One, Kent joins PLAYGROUND XYZ to lead its existing APAC sales teams and to drive the company’s offering into new Asian markets.
Commenting on his appointment, Kent said: “I couldn’t be more thrilled to be joining PLAYGROUND XYZ and am eager to work with this incredibly creative and passionate team to grow this exciting brand.”
The young business which started in Australia has expanded into Europe, South East Asia and most recently the United States.
The growth is fuelled by demand for the company’s platform which helps brands run innovative ad products that deliver on attention metrics such as viewability, time in view and engagement and traded programmatically at scale.
