Pinterest has launched Amazon Storefront linking, a new tool to allow creators to connect their Amazon Storefront directly to their Pinterest account.
Once connected, their affiliate link is automatically applied whenever they tag an eligible Amazon product.
More than 50 per cent of Pinterest users, go to the platform to shop and Pinterest more than 80 billion times a month.
With this feature, eligible creators will see their Amazon Storefront handle featured directly on their Pinterest profile, giving users another way to discover the products and recommendations from the creators they trust most. Storefront linking with other partners will be available soon.
“People come to Pinterest with purpose – they’re looking for ideas, and often ready to act on them. This means Pinterest sits closer to decision-making than other platforms. That helps creators reach audiences at the moment inspiration turns into action.” said Pinterest VP of global content partnerships Lauren Glaubach.
With the new feature, creators can: Link their storefronts, tag Amazon products and showcase their storefront on their Pinterest profile.
