Nunn Media Invests Into Thump Media, Expanding Brisbane Network

Media agency Nunn Media has invested in growing firm Thump Media. The partnership grants Thump Media access to Nunn’s media platform and proprietary intelligence technology.

Under the agreement, Thump Media will integrate Nunn Media’s technology platforms and systems to enhance its client services. This will include the integration of Kaspar, Nunn Media’s proprietary audience intelligence platform due to launch in the first half of 2026. Named after chess grandmaster Garry Kasparov, Kaspar is an all-in-one tool that predicts audience and consumer behavioural trends, solves complex media problems at enterprise scale, and delivers real-time analytics to support delivery of client outcomes.

The agreement sees Thump Media retain its business structure, people, brand and identity. For Nunn Media, it represents an expansion of Nunn Media’s network into Brisbane, one of Australia’s fastest-growing economic centres.

Matt Nunn, founder and CEO of Nunn Media, said the partnership is an important step in Nunn Media’s growth and brings mutual benefit to both parties.

Nunn Media is a large Australian independent media agency, with client billings of over $500 million, 200 staff and operations in Australia and the USA.

Thump Media is an emerging media agency founded in 2015, with offices in Brisbane and Sydney. Its services span editorial and digital media including media strategy and planning, digital marketing, social content, and analytics solutions.
