Nobody Panic! It’s Just The Women In Media Power List Loooooong List

As hotly anticipated as a delivery order of the five essential food groups of grease, salt, sugar, bacon and bacon-related products on a Saturday morning after a gala awards ceremony, we give you the B&T Women in Media Power List longlist.

What is the B&T’s Women in Media Long list we ask? Simply, it’s our primary method of discovering who are all the amazing women working in the advertising, marketing and media in Australia and New Zealand. It’s the free-for-all opportunity to get your or besties’ names in front of us before we arrive at the 2022 final 30 Power List.

Before we get into it, a few rules (or perhaps guidelines) we ask you to observe.

Accept we’re fast and loose here at B&T. While every effort (i.e. asking the intern to check everyone’s LinkedIn profile from last year) has been made to ensure all details are correct at the time of publishing, they’re absolutely not going to be. We sincerely apologise if anyone on this list has changed jobs, moved overseas, left the industry, retired, died or done something so egregious to someone else as to be unworthy of this list. Remember the fast bit about our initial disclaimer. We will fix the problem as fast as we can.

Also, accept that while this list as a starting point is long, it is in no way complete. Heck we can’t even guarantee the whole 30 finalists from last year aren’t all here. God, we hope they are, but come on! That’s a lot of names to wade through.

While there’s near on 200 people in the starting lineup, our hope is to push it way, way higher. Afterall, that means there’s a beautiful burgeoning pool of talent of awesome women we’re not even aware of. Come on! Let’s push this baby to 1000.

NB: Nominating people outside the industry like your mum isn’t what we’re after; albeit knowing full well your mum is awesome!

Also please note, that this is not the people’s choice! There’s no voting here. Just an unearthing process of proper talent. If you or your favourite friend are somewhat unproven, there’s still time to stick an actual entry into the actual awards.

If you do want to add someone, please add them to the comments section below.

If you want to kill someone because you’re so offended by something or someone on this list feel free to email david@bandt.com.au. If you want to get something changed quickly, email solomon@bandt.com.au.

Okay enough spoilers and disclaimers, here’s the long list, enjoy:
