Nine Entertainment’s headquarters will have a new Sydney address in the not-too-distant future, with the media company announcing it is moving to a new single site in 2019-20.
In a statement to shareholders, Nine revealed it has signed a 12-year lease with Winten Property Group to occupy nine floors of a building which Winten will construct at 1 Denison Street in North Sydney.
The new building will house Nine’s Sydney studios, as well as all staff from its Willoughby and Sydney CBD office sites.
Nine CEO Hugh Marks told staff in an email there is “still a long way to go in terms of building the site and tailoring it to our needs”.
“But I am confident in the long term, moving to one site will help us evolve as a modern, forward-looking media business,” he said.
The announcement comes after it was reported in September last year that Nine had found its new digs.
