Taboola has announced a new partnership with New Zealand news platform, Stuff Digital, following a competitive pitch process.
Taboola and Stuff Group—the company behind the Stuff.co.nz website and app—have signed an agreement designed to drive revenue and audience engagement across Stuff’s digital platform.
Under the partnership, Taboola will power recommendations across Stuff.co.nz and its mobile app, providing users with on-site and in-app recommendations and advertising.
The partnership will also see Stuff Digital leverage Taboola’s suite of products, including Taboola Feed, which will be implemented on all article pages across the online browser and in-app, with a mix of sponsored and organic content.
As per Nielsen DCM September 2025, Stuff.co.nz has New Zealand’s largest digital news audience, reaching almost 2.3 million unique viewers each month.
Owned by Stuff Group (formerly Fairfax Media), Stuff.co.nz publishes live and lively news, weather, sport, politics, video, entertainment, business, and lifestyle content. Its newsroom also produces the nightly 6pm news broadcast ThreeNews and was named Digital News Provider of the Year (Voyager Awards) in 2025.
“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Stuff Digital—New Zealand’s number one online news provider,” said Adam Singolda, founder and CEO of Taboola.
“Stuff Group is a dominant force in the New Zealand news market, reaching millions of Kiwis each month across its digital and print products. We’re excited to work closely with the Stuff team on building audiences, keeping them engaged and on this new phase for their business.”
Stuff Digital joins Taboola’s growing stable of Australian and New Zealand partners, which includes TVNZ, Otago Daily Times, Sky News Australia, Seven West Media, Weatherzone, and Australian Community Media (ACM), among others.
The partnership is effective immediately.
