Seven Network’s The Mentor hosted by famed businessman and entrepreneur, Mark Bouris, debuted under the half-a-million mark last night.

The financial guide show pulled in a rather soft 489,000 viewers, however, combined with MKR (1.33 million) Seven still managed to win the night.

Seven had 31.5 per cent audience share, followed by Nine with 26.3 per cent, Ten was third with 17.8 per cent, the ABC had 17.2 per cent and SBS pulled in 7.2 per cent.

Nine’s The Voice fell under the million-mark, mustering 911,000. While Ten’s Bachelor In Paradise had 666,000.

Seven won the bragging rights in the 6pm news bulletins, beating rival Nine 1.33 million to 980,000, respectively. Meanwhile, Nine’s ACA had a stellar night managing 950,000.

Ten’s The Project continued its roller-coaster ratings with 575,000. While 309,000 hung about to watch Ten’s repeat of the classic Pretty Woman.

Over at the ABC, its night of current affairs went thus: ABC News (753,000), 7:30 (593,000), Australian Story (576,000), Media Watch (573,000), Four Corners (513,000), Q&A (385,000) and Think Tank (231,000).

SBS’s best was Elizabeth that had 275,000 people tune-in.
