This week kicked off with 10 winning the night in entertainment with Have you been paying attention, snagging 731,000 viewers.
Seven News hit 925,000 viewers while Nine News had 881,000 A Current Affair had 676,000 viewers – petition to get Tracey Grimshaw on a coin or bill, please.
As per OzTAM’s metro numbers, second in entertainment was Seven’s, Home And Away, performing very well with 560,000 viewers – proving we love drama with an ocean view!
Third in entertainment was 10’s Celebrity Masterchef with 557,000. You have to give it to 10, it has managed to rustle up actual celebrities to cook, though admittedly Chrissie Swan was gone too soon! Followed by Nine’s Parental Guidance that earned, 481,000.
Also on 10 was The Project that snagged 435,000 viewers, and seriously can we give it up for the fashion again? Even the men always look stunning.
For Seven, The Chase hit 457,000, and Big Brother VIP snagged 320,000 – Jessika Power needs her own show immediately!
On Nine, Hot Seat scored 372,000 viewers.
Finally, ABC had a very solid night with 7.30 netting 531,000 viewers, Australian Story had, 459,000 and Media Watch had 337,000 .
Out on top was the Nine Network with 25.8 per cent. Seven was only a fraction behind with 25.7 per cent of the daily share, followed closely by the 10 Network with 23.7 per cent. Next was ABC Network with 16.6 per cent of the share, while the SBS had 8.3 per cent.
Looking now to OzTAM’s total tv report for Monday, November fifteenth, the top-performing program was Seven News with a total audience of 1,502,000 viewers (metro: 944,000 regional: 552,000, BVOD: 30,000).
Next was the News News, with a total audience of 1,300,000 viewers (metro: 944,000 regional: 322,000, BVOD: 33,000), followed by Home And Away at 1,079,000 (metro: 516,000, regional: 379,000, BVOD: 142,000).
And, once again, the show with the highest lift on overnight was Love Island Australia at 85 per cent, bringing it to a total audience of 615,000 (metro: 254,000, regional: 79,000, BVOD: 245,000)
