Monday TV Wrap: Married At First Sight’s Premiere Scored 869,000 Eyeballs

B&T’s TV wrap is back and we are here to tell you that nine’s married at first sight, won entertainment last night snagging 869,000 viewers – and offending many retail workers.

Seven News hit 1,041,000 viewers while Nine News had 913,000 viewers.  Nine’s A Current Affair scored 665,000 viewers – honestly, Tracey Grimshaw is a national treasure!  

As per OzTAM’s metro numbers, second in entertainment was 10’s Survivor launch and no you aren’t seeing things that is Sam Frost’s brother – the show earned 608,000 viewers.

Seven’s Home And Away snagged the third spot in entertainment with 537,000 viewers – never underestimate, the draw of people at the beach arguing – which also describes my summer holidays.

Also on 10, The Project snagged 460,000 viewers – and can we just talk about how brilliant Carrie Bickmore is? and 10’s News First bought in 323,000 viewers. 

For Seven, The Voice Generations hit 529,000, and The Chase snagged 519,000 – nothing is more humbling than watching people either more talented or smarter than you. 

On Nine, Hot Seat scored 410,000 viewers and Tipping point snagged 283,000 viewers. 

Finally, ABC had a very solid night with ABC Newsnetting 652,000 viewers, 7.30 nabbing, 533,000 and Back Roads grabbing 439,000 viewers – hopefully, Ita is pleased!

Out on top was the Nine Network with 32.0 per cent. Seven Network was just behind with 25.6 per cent of the daily share, followed closely by the 10 Network with 19.2  per cent. Next was ABC Network with 15.1 per cent of the share, while the SBS had 8.1 per cent.
