MAFS secured 979,000 viewers last night according to OzTAM’s data, closely beating Seven News with 973,000.
Last night’s episode of MAFS introduced a slew of new couples to the competition. The episode also included the show’s first-ever bisexual groom!
Nine News had 860,000 viewers, followed by a slightly steeper drop down to A Current Affair at 689,000. Coming in just behind was ABC News with 678,000 viewers.
The rest of the ABC’s night had 7.30 perform at 617,000 viewers while Australian Story had 577,000. Four Corners had 453,000 viewers and Media Watch had 439,000.
For Nine, Under Investigation – Encore had 530,000 viewers – a significant increase from Sunday’s figures – while Hot Seat had 410,000.
Looking over to Seven, Home And Away had a good night at 575,000 viewers and The Chase had 495,000.
10’s top performer was The Amazing Race Australia with 491,000 viewers while The Project followed with 454,000 and 10 News First had 339, 000. All three programs increased viewership from Sunday night.
The SBS’s top performer was The Secret Life Of Lighthouses with 204,000 viewers.
In terms of the daily share, Nine (all channels) continued a winning streak with 33 per cent, followed by Seven (all channels) with 22 per cent. Network 10 eked out a narrow victory over the ABC Network with 18 per cent to 17 per cent.
The SBS Network had seven per cent.
