Max Verstappen ripping around Melbourne's Albion Park. Which will be littered with Moët & Chandon branding in 2027.

The Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix will have a new name in 2027, with Moët & Chandon locking down the title rights. The booze brand replaces Qatar Airways, who had the naming rights in 2026.

Moët & Chandon follow a long list of title sponsors over the last five years. Heineken held the rights in 2022, followed by Rolex  in 2023 and 2024, before the rights landed at and Louis Vuitton for the 2025 race. .

The partnership is an extension of its presence in the sport. Moët & Chandon returned as the official Champagne sponsor of the racing series in 2025 as part of a 10-year global partnership between F1 and LVMH, the parent company of Moët & Chandon.

The return started in Melbourne, the first race of the 2025 series, where a giant Champagne cork shaped hot air balloon was launched over the city’s CBD.

Moët & Chandon president and CEO Sibylle Scherer said headlining the 2027 Melbourne Grand Prix was a natural choice.

“Melbourne holds a special place in Moët & Chandon’s story,” said Scherer.

“Australia is one of the world’s great Champagne markets and Melbourne gives this title sponsorship a resonance that extends across the Asia-Pacific region. Being there is meaningful: it allows us to celebrate a market that means so much to the Maison, while sharing the joy of Moët & Chandon with an even wider Formula 1 community.”

Moët & Chandon has been the official Champagne sponsor since 2025, and was also the title partner of the 2026 Belgian Grand Prix.

Fellow LVMH brands Belvedere and Chandon also activated at the 2026 Australian Grand Prix.

“Moët & Chandon has long been synonymous with excellence, celebration and unforgettable moments, making them the perfect partner as we continue to showcase the Australian Grand Prix as a truly world-class experience. We look forward to working with Moët & Chandon as the 2027 title partner, to set a new benchmark for luxury sporting experiences for fans at the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit,” said Travis Auld, CEO of Australian Grand Prix Corporation.

The 2027 Moët & Chandon Australian Grand Prix will take place from 2-4 April 2027.
