A new in-stool-ment of Metamucil’s ad series has just become a tri-LOG-y as Ms Metamucil, Nugget and Gutsy squeeze into the hard world of poo-litics.
Metamucil’s latest campaign has smashed the record for the most viewed digital ad in Australian history, around double that achieved by 2016’s Australian Lamb ad. It currently has over four million views on YouTube.
The gut health brand used humour and cultural milestones (the Federal Election) to drive consumer awareness of their brand and spark conversations about gut health.
The ad has been exceptionally well-received, with plenty of positive comments on YouTube.
One user wrote: “This is why I love this country.”
Another said: “Really wish I had the option to vote for them.”
One user went as far as to say: “Honestly this is the best ad I [have] ever seen.”
