Medibank Shares The Power Of The Knock-On Effect With New Live Better Campaign Via TBWA\Melbourne

To launch its new Live Better program, Medibank has created a new integrated campaign to inspire all Australians to strive for a better quality of life.

The Live Better campaign explores the power of the knock-on effect by demonstrating the profound influence our actions have on those closest to us.

Challenging the notion that self-care can feel selfish, the campaign tag line, ‘When you live better, we’re all better for it’ speaks to the positive impact that caring for yourself has on everyone around you.

Launched via TBWA\Melbourne, B.B.E and Carat, the campaign went live overnight with a series of short and long-form film content directed by Michelle Savill from Goodoil.

Along with the film content, the campaign will also run in digital, radio, social and out-of-home.

In line with the launch, Medibank is directing consumers to the Live Better online health hub, which has been created to provide advice and information to support all Australians on their individual health journeys.

The entire Live Better program includes the online hub, Medibank supported free and active community events and Live Better rewards which can be accessed via the soon to be launched Live Better rewards app.

Medibank senior executive marketing Fiona Le Brocq said: “We want to inspire all Australians to make positive, healthy changes not only for themselves, but for those closest to them.

“Whether it’s going for a walk in the middle of the work day, which inspires your colleague to do the same or starting your day with meditation, which motivates your partner to consider what they could be doing for their wellbeing.  By caring for ourselves, we become powerful role models.

“Live Better is our way of supporting Australians on their individual health journey.  Through our Live Better program, we support hundreds of free community activities to help get Australians moving and have created a comprehensive online hub of content offering health advice and guidance.

“We’re continuing to expand Live Better and next month, we will launch the Live Better rewards app to eligible Medibank members – who hold hospital or extras cover – helping them track towards their health and wellbeing goals.”
