Independent media agency Media33 has appointed Bernie Cullen as digital and operations director to strengthen its senior leadership team as it continues its next phase of growth.
Cullen joins Media33 with more than two decades of experience across digital strategy, performance media, operations and team leadership. Her career includes senior roles with GroupM and Revium. Most recently she worked at Digital Oasis where she led digital teams and client delivery across a broad range of sectors and brands.
In her new role, Cullen will work closely with Media33’s leadership team to further strengthen operational excellence, digital capability, client service and team development across the business.
“Bernie brings exactly the kind of leadership we were looking for as Media33 continues to evolve. She combines exceptional digital and operational experience with a genuine ability to support people, build strong teams and help clients move forward with confidence. I’ve known Bernie for more than a decade and have always admired the way she leads. She’s warm, smart, highly respected and brings a steady hand to everything she does. Since joining the business she has brought a new level of energy, confidence and operational excellence to the team, and we’re delighted to have her by our side,” said Media33 managing director Jenna Lambert.
“What attracted me to Media33 was the combination of ambition, culture and genuine client partnership. The agency has built a strong reputation for delivering smart, commercially focused work while maintaining a people-first approach. What stood out immediately was the quality of the team and the genuine care they have for both clients and each other. There is a strong foundation already in place and a clear vision for where the business is heading. I’m looking forward to working alongside the team as we continue strengthening capability, supporting our clients and building for the future,” Cullen added.
The appointment follows the recent addition of former Spark Foundry managing director Pete Butler as managing partner. It reflects Media33’s continued investment in senior leadership capability as the agency enters its next phase of growth.
