Engagement marketing software firm Marketo has announced the appointment of Will Griffith (main photo) as managing director of Australia and New Zealand. Griffith will report into Marketo Chief Sales Officer Eric Johnson.
“I am confident that Marketo’s business in Australia and New Zealand will truly thrive with Will at the helm. His experience leading successful enterprise teams, knowledge of the local landscape and understanding of the challenges facing today’s chief marketing officers make him an ideal addition to our team,” said Johnson.
Griffith joins Marketo from Oracle Marketing Cloud, where he was most recently head of sales and go-to-market strategy for Asia-Pacific. He joined Oracle through its acquisition of Eloqua, where he served as the company’s Regional Director ANZ, establishing its first presence in APAC. With over 20 years’ experience leading teams within enterprise technology and over a decade working with alongside some of the United Kingdom and Australia’s marketing leaders, Griffith is uniquely positioned to help Australian organisations transform the way they engage with customers.
“I am thrilled to join the Marketo ANZ team and help CMOs drive revenue and growth in the Engagement Economy,” said Griffith. “Marketo has long been known for its championing of the marketing profession and customer-focused engagement solutions. I’m excited to be a part of the next phase of the Marketo journey.”
Griffith will be based in Sydney and responsible for Marketo’s overall business operations across Australia and New Zealand.
