The Marketing Club (TMC) is taking Marketers Day across the Tasman in 2026, bringing the marketing festival to both Sydney and Auckland in May.
The full-day events will take place in Sydney on Thursday, 21 May and Auckland on Friday, 22 May, with centrally located venues in both cities to be announced in the coming weeks.
Marketers Day launched in Auckland last October, selling out its debut event, and this year’s event has already attracted more than 120 to the waitlist.
The marketing festival focuses on practical marketing strategy, brand building and the real pressures marketing teams navigate. The program is designed to move beyond theory, giving marketers access to strategies, lessons and debates shaping modern brand growth.
TMC founder Chanel Clark said the decision to bring Marketers Day to Australia reflects the level of engagement across both markets.
“We’ve seen strong demand from marketers who want honest, commercially credible conversations about what’s actually happening inside brands and across the marketing industry,”
“Marketing is evolving quickly, from new technologies and changing customer expectations to the way teams plan, measure and deliver growth. Marketers Day is about stepping back to look at where the industry is heading, sharing real insight from people doing the work and having the conversations marketers need right now. In that environment, playing safe is risky.” Clark added.
In three years, TMC has grown to more than 15,000 members across Australia and New Zealand. The community connects marketers at all stages, through peer-led discussions, live events and professional development initiatives.
TMC formally launched into Australia in mid-2025 and has since held events across Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide. The 2026 Marketers Day expansion reflects that growing footprint.
Clark added: “Marketing is changing quickly and no one has all the answers. Bringing marketers together to share what’s working, what isn’t and what they’re learning along the way helps the whole industry move forward”
The 2026 editions will feature senior brand leaders, growth specialists and industry operators from across Australasia, alongside an international guest. Further speaker announcements will follow in the coming weeks.
