Magnum & Co has this month launched new integrated brand campaigns for 3M’s Nexcare™ brand, and will follow them up with a fresh campaign for the manufacturing company’s FUTURO™ brand in April.
The through-the-line campaigns will see the strategy and content developed and executed locally by the Sydney-based marketing agency.
Magnum & Co general manager Aaron Crowther said the relationship with 3M has long been a good one, but it has strengthened as Magnum & Co has brought new services to the fore.
“We are really excited to be working with 3M on these campaigns because they are tightly integrated and show the full gamut of what we can do for clients,he said.
For Nexcare™, which is dedicated to first aid products and wound care, Magnum & Co has developed an integrated campaign to launch its new Animal Print Waterproof Bandages.
The campaign includes a strategic partnership with Taronga Zoo, a paid media partnership with Kidspot and supporting media and influencer relations activities.
Sitting at the core of the campaign is a colouring competition which gives winners the chance to win annual family passes to the zoo, along with the opportunity to have their artwork showcased in above-the-line advertising at pharmacies.
For FUTURO™, which specialises in supports and braces, Magnum & Co has created a short film called ‘Everyday Heroes’, talking to the status parents hold in the creative minds of their children.
Devising the social media strategy for Facebook, including paid media management, the campaign leverages influencer marketing, media relations and product seeding to drive purchase consideration through to action, and is set to launch next month.
Crowther said the new campaigns represent a fresh approach for Nexcare™ and FUTURO™ brands.
“We call our insights-driven process the discovery of a client’s ‘True North’, and this process was critical in coming up with our strategies for 3M,” he said.
“We’re working to create an emotive bond with the 3M brands.”
Lay Hua Kek, 3M’s sales and marketing manager for Australia and New Zealand, said the company has always had a great experience working with Magnum & Co, but the new campaigns are something new
“The strategy and creative is industry-leading,” she said.
