Learn From McDonald’s Grand Prix Winner, Pinterest & Google Hatchlings Winners How To Win In Cairns

The mastermind’s behind McDonald’s multi-award winning ‘Dare to Play’ Squid Games campaign and Cairns Hatchlings winners from Google will be offering advice on how you can win big at next year’s Cairns Crocodiles Awards and Hatchlings. 

Attendees have the chance to win one free entry ticket to the Cairns Hatchlings and one free entry to the Cairns Crocodiles Awards at the free event in Sydney next Wednesday. 

The event will feature a panel to discuss the grand prix winning McDonald’s campaign ‘Dare To Play’, and provide tips on how to produce an award-winning entry and what judges are looking for.

RSVP to attend ‘Winning: How you can in Cairns’, which takes place on the morning of Wednesday, 26 November at Pinterest’s offices, Sydney.

Attendees will hear from McDonald’s head of menu and brand Nichole Tsiros, OMD’s head of strategy Zoe May, and Pinterest APAC senior brand and creative solutions partner Ross Jauncey.

They will be followed by a presentation from Goggle’s Cairns Hatchlings winning duo Olivia Ford and Laura Jeffries. Both sessions will be open to the floor for questions.

Nichole Tsiros, Zoe May, Ross Jauncey, Olivia Ford and Laura Jeffries will provide free advice on how to win big in Cairns.

McDonald’s ‘Dare to Play’ was a national phenomenon winning four gold, two silver and one bronze crocodile, as well as the coveted Grand Prix. 

The campaign, in partnership with Netflix and brought to life by Akcelo and OMD, not only showcased the finest creativity in experiential marketing, media strategy and planning, but also how brands can tap into popular culture to deliver mouthwatering results.

Google’s Jeffries and Ford won the Marketing category for this year’s Cairns Hatchlings and will hot tips on their journey to the final, what to expect in Cairns and how to win. This year, the Cairns Crocodiles will be paying for all Hatchlings finalists to fly up to Cairns, attend live judging and the region’s leading festival of creativity.

Meanwhile, Pinterest’s Ross Jauncey was president of last year’s Design Crocodiles Awards jury and has the inside oil on what makes a winning entry, what stands out and what to avoid.
