Last Friday’s B&T Awards were our best, if we say so ourselves. Sorry if you missed it!
But of course, we couldn’t have done it without our FA-BU-LOUS sponsors and seeing Komo up in lights as the official digital engagement platform had to be one of the highlights of the evening.
Joel Steel, Founder & CEO of Komo managed to wrangle the raucous audience with digital games and competitions, which was no small feat.
As if the stakes on the night weren’t high enough, punters fought to own the evening through trivia and predictor activities with a live, dynamic leaderboard.
The Komo platform enabled tables to win some fun and outrageous accessories for the night, which were perfect for the afterparty dance-floor. Not to mention, the right to win a share of the $2000 prize pool.

“The Live Predictor allowed attendees to predict who would go home with each award. The Trivia was played live by hundreds of punters, supported by live UGC data feeds, live leaderboards, and countdown clocks which took over the big screens around the room. This was supported by the Memory Games to win more cash and digital Scratch & Wins to win some hilarious prizing-wear on the night.
“Komo and our partners at Vault Payment Solutions were able to offer $2.5k in prizes to reward attendees for their engagement which bought the competition in the room to a whole new level.
“The night was an incredible experience and success with record engagement numbers (by a long shot) on the digital activations run by Komo compared to previous B&T events using different technology. We are looking forward to continuing to up the ante for team B&T at future events.”
