Network Ten has announced that one of Australia’s most iconic media personalities, Kerri-Anne Kennerley, will join Studio 10 as a regular co-host from Monday 10 September at 8.30am.
Kennerley will sit side-by-side with Studio 10 regulars Sarah Harris, Joe Hildebrand, Angela Bishop, Denise Scott and Denise Drysdale every Monday and Tuesday, as she joins the panel two days a week.
She will make her welcome return to morning television after she first began her illustrious Australian television career on Network Ten’s Good Morning Australia in 1981, when she co-hosted the top rating show for 12 years.
Speaking on her return, Kennerley said: “Three decades of live television is just not enough. I can’t wait to get the adrenalin pumping again and join the wonderful Studio 10 team two days a week. There is a slight feeling of coming home to TEN, where I enjoyed over a decade of fabulous live television. I have a feeling it will be a lot of fun.”
Studio 10 executive producer Lucy De Luca said: “We are so excited to have Kerri-Anne as part of the Studio 10 family. Kerri-Anne is an Aussie icon who has played a huge part in television history, so it is great to see her return to her home here at Network Ten.”
