Kerfuffle has appointed former Droga5 exec Dave Collins as its head of strategy.
Collins spent the last six years at Droga5 (formerly The Monkeys), where he helped shape award-winning creative strategies for brands including Macpac, Victoria Bitter, Australia Post, SEEK, Asahi Super Dry and ahm insurance.
Prior to Droga5, Collins had stints at Interesting Development in New York and CHE Proximity in Melbourne.
Collins said, “Kerfuffle is the perfect blueprint for what clients need today – independent, senior-led, fast on its feet, and built for impact. They’ve assembled a truly world-class team, who all know what it takes to make work that gets noticed and remembered. I can’t wait to get stuck in with them.”
The move marks a reunion for Collins who re-joins chief strategy officer, Mike Derepas, after several years working together at The Monkeys.
Derepas said, “Dave is a rare combination of sharp strategic thinking and genuine care, for both the work and the people. Since starting at Kerfuffle, he’s already helped lift the creative and strategic output – as well as the average height of the agency. We’re all thrilled to have him on board. Giddy up.”
The news follows a couple of recent account wins for Kerfuffle: Bulla Dairy and a portion of the Asahi creative account, which it shares with BMF.
