Creative intelligence company JUSTEGGS has appointed Ricky Chanana as its chief growth officer.
Chanana will join the company in Sydney next month and will report directly to CEO Nik Kontoulas. Chanana previously served as head of sales for Australia & NZ at Twitch [Amazon ads] for three years.
“I’m thrilled to be joining JUSTEGGS. I’m so impressed with their performance so far and their ability to converge creative, media and data as a one-stop shop for their clients,” said Chanana.
“For me, that is a winning trifecta for advertisers today. Plus, there’s never been a better time to focus on and grow a strong local business. I’m looking forward to working with the team at JUSTEGGS and taking the business to new heights.”
Chanana’s appointment is part of JUSTEGG’s expansion across Australia and New Zealand, as well as a push into the broader APAC region.
Kontoulas said: “We have been in the Australian market for almost a decade now and the past five have been our most successful yet and as a result, we have grown significantly.
“We added 6 additional people in 2022, and we are on the hunt to hire more talented “Eggers” in 2023.
“We are really excited to have Ricky come on board as our new chief growth officer to supercharge our existing success with our partners, bring on new clients and establish new markets. Ricky brings incredible experience, energy, drive and charisma to the JUSTEGGS growing family.”
Alognside his work for JUSTEGG, Chanana will serve as a NSW ambassador for Whitelion, a charity that supports young people at risk in Australia with programs and advocacy. He previously held senior roles at Unruly, NewsCorp, Maxus [GroupM], MEC [GroupM], and MediaSmart.
