“Just F@ck Everything And Eat Ice-Cream” Says Gloriously Fun Body-Positive Ad

Worried about your weight, your fitness, your diet? Well, you shouldn’t be argues a glorious new ad from US ice-cream maker Halo Top.

The spot, the work of creative agency Deloitte Digital’s Heat, stars Columbian plus-sizedmodel Maria Jimenez Pacifico dancing around her apartment and greedily hoeing into a tub of Halo Top.

Titled “Stop shoulding yourself”, for those unaware, “shoulding” apparently refers to the pressure people can place on themselves to do what they think will make them “better”.

The body-positive ad is all set to Mama Haze’s How I Do It and interspersed with slogans we probably can all buy into – “I ‘should’ lose weight,” “I ‘should’ work out more,” “I ‘should’ eat more salads” and “I ‘should’ skip dessert”.

Check out the decadent fun below:

Commenting on the work, Halo Top senior brand manager Shilpa Gadhok told industry site Marketing Daily: “What we know about our consumers is that they’re constantly in the pursuit of holistic well-being.

“This spot is for anyone who feels those pressures of what they should be doing versus what they actually are doing, whether that be around career, social life, wellness and beyond.”

    1. what a lot of BS…”body positve pffft”…thats just marketing spin. She is overweight and likley to have a shit load of health issues down the track at that size………and the ice cream company is preying on obese peoples lack of will power by showing eating their product and being fat is fun.
