InStyle magazine held their Women of Style awards at the Star last night. This year saw the introduction of a new category for sport, won by female jockey and Melbourne Cup winner Michelle Payne.

“We are proud to champion these women,” publisher Jackie Frank said.

Editor Emily Taylor announced the redesign of InStyle’s June issue, with new typefaces, layouts and content sections.

Guests at the ceremony included: Lara Worthington, Dannii Minogue, Michelle Bridges, Collette Dinnigan, Layne Beachley, Kirk Pengilly, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Claudia Karvan, Barry Otto, Margaret Fulton, Geraldine Hakewill, Anna Bamford, Juanita Phillips and Pip Marlow.

There were nine categories in total, the full winners below:
