In news that might draw tears of joy from social media managers, Instagram is testing a new post-scheduling tool.
The new tool is in testing at the moment, with a Meta spokesperson confirming to Mashable that it is “testing the ability to schedule content with a percentage of our global community.”
Now you can schedule posts on the Instagram app! ✨

At present, it seems as though the new feature is limited to business accounts only and not everyone will get access to the scheduling tool at the moment.
Creators are already allowed to schedule their Live videos up to 90 days in advance but the new feature would allow brands to schedule their grid posts ahead of time.
If you have access to the tool, here’s how to schedule a post. First you’ll need to create the post and go through all editing options, tagging, adding a location, and sharing options. Once at the final screen, scroll to the bottom and tap “advanced settings.” Then, you’ll find the option to “schedule this post.” Choose a date and time and you’re set.
